Cody Rhodes wins NWA World title at All In

Accompanied to the ring by his wife Brandi Rhodes, Diamond Dallas Page, Glacier, and Tommy Dreamer, Cody Rhodes became the new NWA World Heavyweight champion last night at All In after he defeated Nick Aldis.

Cody becomes the 94th champion in the illustrious history of the NWA, dethroning Aldis who was champion for 266 days.

The NWA World title, otherwise known as the 10 Pounds of Gold, is very important to the Rhodes family as Dusty won it on three different occasions, holding it for a total of 107 days.

The NWA title is set to be defended during the NWA 70th Anniversary show on October 21 in Nashville, Tennessee. The NWA has been purchased and now promoted by Billy Corgan.
