Jake Roberts released from hospital and makes appearance at show in Vegas

Jake “The Snake” Roberts was released from a Las Vegas hospital yesterday and already made an appearance for Future Stars of Wrestling in Vegas.

Walking out to his WWE music, Roberts walked slowly to the ring to address the crowd. “Thank you God for still having me on this planet,” Jake started. Jake mentioned the demons, addiction, and every problems he tried to hide because of the shame, but now he’s fighting cancer, and it’s cool, because if you can beat addiction you can beat cancer.

Roberts thanked WWE for being “very very kind” to him and for continuing to help him throughout his battles.

The WWE Hall of Famer cut an emotional promo and thanked Sinn Bodhi, the man behind FSW, and Diamond Dallas Page for saving his life.

Roberts is not cleared to fly and will be staying with Bodhi in Las Vegas until he’s healthy enough again to go back home in Georgia.
