WWE today announced that it has promoted Matt Bloom as permanent Head Coach at NXT following the resignation of Bill DeMott. In addition, Sara Amato has also been promoted to Assistant Head Coach, the first female in such a position.

Bloom is known to WWE fans as A-Train, Price Albert, and lately as Jason Albert. Amato is better known as Sara Del Rey. In addition to coaching at the WWE Performance Center, Amato will also work with WWE Superstars and Divas on the main roster as both a producer and agent.

“I have the utmost confidence in Matt and Sara’s ability to train and lead the next generation of Superstars and Divas at the WWE Performance Center,” said Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative. “With each having more than 15 years of experience in the business, Matt and Sara will continue to be invaluable resources to our developmental system. The trust and respect that they have gained throughout the years by both our talent and training staff puts NXT in a great position for future success.”

Matt Bloom said it was an honor to be named Head Coach and looks forward to training and coaching the Superstars and Divas of tomorrow.

Amato added that it is a dream for her to be in this position and she’s proud to be given such an opportunity.
