WWE special from Japan on 4th of July to air live on WWE Network

It was announced during this week’s NXT episode that the NXT title will be on the line on the July 4 WWE show from Tokyo, Japan, live on the WWE Network.

This will be a special that will air only on the WWE Network starting at 6:30AM EST due to the time difference. WWE Superstars scheduled to be on the card are John Cena, Chris Jericho, Brock Lesnar, and more.

Finn Balor, who is now the number one contender, will wrestle NXT champion Kevin Owens in a match that many expect Balor to win considering Owens is being moved permanently to the main roster. Balor, as Prince Devitt, has quite a long history in Japan and this would be the perfect place for him to grab the title.

The show will take place at the Ryogoku Kokugikan Hall in Tokyo.
