Updated: Daniel Bryan says radio interview is a fake

UPDATED: In a post on Twitter submitted minutes ago, former WWE Heavyweight champion Daniel Bryan said that the interview being circulated around is fake and he never said what wrestling websites are being reported.

“I appreciate all the thank yous, but the entire interview claiming that I said my time is over is a fake. I will be back wrestling,” Bryan said.

In the original article, we posted Brie Bella’s comments from a recent interview she did with British tabloid newspaper The Mirror where here comments regarding Bryan’s wrestling future were totally different than this now alleged interview.

“But my husband has so much fight in him and he tells me every day ‘I’m getting back in that ring, just you watch’ and I’m like ‘oh I bet you will’. I have his support 100% and I really think he will get back in there, I really do. He doesn’t see it any other way,” she said.

ORIGINAL STORY: During a radio interview with 92.7 KGHO in Aberdeen, Washington, to promote his upcoming book, former WWE World Heavyweight champion admitted that his time “is over” and fans should just “let it go.”

When asked about his thoughts on Battleground, Bryan said he doesn’t have time to watch the current product although he does watch NXT and of course Tough Enough.

“For those waiting for my return I appreciate it but let’s focus on what’s going on right now,” he said. “I’ve had my time and it’s over so it seems but there’s an abundance of talent on the main roster for them to pay attention too. Just let it go.”

Bryan said that he enjoys doing Tough Enough as they fly him in to Florida, he talks to the cast for a few, and then he’s flown back home. “It’s easy and I love it,” Bryan said. “I only do Tough Enough and Tough Enough should be about Tough Enough and not me. It’s about those young men and women who want a future in this company.”

His comments are in contrast of what Brie Bella said last week during her media tour with the UK press for Total Divas. She said that her husband really thinks he can go back to the ring and tells her that every day.
