Randy Orton set to miss most of 2016 due to another surgery

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Randy Orton will take much longer than expected to return to the ring as after he recovers from shoulder surgery he will have to most likely undergo neck surgery.

While Orton’s neck surgery isn’t as serious as his shoulder injury and will involve removing bone chips, the additional surgery will push his return by around 3 more months at the least. The former WWE champion is already out for six months and was going to miss WrestleMania anyway but now it’s looking more likely for a late Summer or early Fall return.

Orton is one of the handful of Superstars who are missing from television due to injuries and other commitments.
