WWE lands Coca-Cola as new sponsor

WWE has landed a major sponsor for the Slammy Awards Raw broadcast which will air on USA Network on December 21.

The new sponsor is Coca-Cola, who apart from sponsoring the Slammy Awards, are also sponsoring the Tribute to the Troops event which will air two days later also on USA Network. The video promo hyping up the Awards Raw says, “The 2015 Slammy Awards presented by Coca-Cola” so most likely the name will also be announced during the broadcast rather than just showing the logo.

Raw lately has been sponsored by Kay Jewelers which seems a rather strange match to the WWE demographic. Kay Jewelers is a division of Sterling Jewelers Inc. The TLC pay-per-view is also sponsored by another major retailer, Toys”R”Us.
