Dave Bautista offered spot at WrestleMania 32

Ryan Satin from ProWrestlingSheet.com is reporting that Dave Bautista was backstage at the Royal Rumble after he was invited for a meeting with the boss, Vince McMahon.

According to sources, Batista was there because McMahon offered him a one-off deal for WrestleMania 32 in Dallas, Texas. It seems that the creative that was pitched to Batista wasn’t deemed good enough by the former champion as Batista turned down the offer. However the two sides reportedly left the door open to try and fit him in the show differently. Whether that will happen or not remains to be seen.

The timing of WrestleMania might also interfere with the filming of Bautista’s upcoming movie Guardians of the Galaxy 2.
