WWE shakes up Raw and Smackdown commentary teams

With all the roster now split, Smackdown has 31 WWE Superstars while Raw has 41 and the WWE Champion and Intercontinental champion are both Smackdown residents. The WWE Women’s champion is on the Raw brand along with the United States and Tag Team champions as well.

Even though it was not expected, the commentary team for both shows were shuffled as well. Doing Raw commentary from next week are Michael Cole, Byron Saxton, and Corey Graves who gets the promotion. Smackdown will be led by Mauro Ranallo and helped by JBL, who moves from Raw, and David Otunga.

Long time WWE commentator and Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler has been left out from both shows which raises questions about his future in the company.
