Chavo Guerrero hired to train cast of Netflix’s G.L.O.W. series

ProWrestlingSheet.com is reporting that Chavo Guerrero has been hired as the wrestling trainer for the cast of the upcoming Netflix series G.L.O.W.

The cast of G.L.O.W. comprises of actors and actresses who – so far – have never stepped foot inside the squared circle and producers decided to hire one of the veterans from one of the most successful wrestling family to teach the cast the ropes.

Alison Brie, Marc Maron and Betty Gilpin are the first three cast members announced for the series which will tell the fictionalized story of Ruth, an out-of-work actress who finds one last chance to live her dreams in the form of a weekly series about female wrestlers. It is based on the promotion Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling which ran between 1986 and 1992.
