The Boss is back and ready to take the WWE Women’s title again

Just a few weeks after dropping the WWE Women’s title to Charlotte and vanishing from television, Sasha Banks returned to Monday Night Raw and immediately challenged Charlotte for the title at Clash of Champions later this month.

Banks won the WWE Women’s title on the first post-draft Raw in July, a decision which was “moved forward” as the plan was for Banks to win the title at SummerSlam. Her title reign was short-lived however as Charlotte regained the title at the SummerSlam pay-per-view.

The title switch was done because Sasha was suffering from a back injury and it was thought that she would be sidelined for a few months, however the injury wasn’t as severe as initially thought and WWE doctors cleared her for return much sooner.

Banks swerved the crowd by first delivering a promo that made it seem like she was retiring but then after discarding Dana Brooke who interrupted the segment, she announced that she’s back and ready to go.
