Sasha Banks and Charlotte to main event Hell In A Cell

Sasha Banks and Charlotte will already make history at Hell In A Cell by having the first female match inside the Cell structure but that is not all as Raw General Manager Mick Foley announced in a Facebook post that the two women will be the main event of this pay-per-view.

No women have managed to headline a WWE pay-per-view in the history of the company and while Sasha Banks and Bayley headlined NXT Takeover last year, it was never done on the main roster.

“The biggest moment of the night for us came when the #WWE cameras were off, and Stephanie and I just looked at the #HIAC poster, realizing that for #WomensWrestling, history is upon us – as Sasha Banks and Charlotte will main event the #HIAC PPV,” Foley wrote. “I am so happy for Sasha, for Charlotte, for all the women who paved the way, and all those who aspire to follow in their footsteps. It is no exaggeration to say that looking at that poster gave me chills…and they were multiplying.”

The two will have monster pressure on their shoulders by making history twice in one night but WWE has shown complete faith in the two Superstars. Ric Flair said recently that his daughter has some crazy moves planned for their Hell In A Cell match.
