John Cena to host Saturday Night Live on December 10

John Cena will become the third wrestler to host Saturday Night Live following the footsteps of Hulk Hogan and The Rock.

The former WWE champion will be taking over the hosting duties of the popular show on December 10. “So incredibly honored & excited to host @nbcsnl on Dec. 10th. Can’t wait to be live from NYC on a Saturday night,” Cena wrote on Twitter after the official account for Saturday Night Live revealed the last hosts for 2016.

Hogan hosted SNL along with Mr T during the buildup for WrestleMania I while The Rock hosted SNL on four different occasions so far, with his first one being in 1999 during the boom of the Attitude Era.
