Kurt Angle pulled from commentary duties this weekend in the UK

WWE Hall of Fame inductee Kurt Angle was supposed to provide commentary this weekend for the first episode of Dominant Wrestling in the United Kingdom which will air on the UK version of Spike TV, however, the promoter at 5 Star Wrestling announced today via a Facebook post that Angle was pulled from the event.

“At 16:04 today I received a call from Kurt Angle’s management team confirming the rumours that Kurt will not be commentating on the debut episode of Dominant Wrestling,” the statement said. “It’s a shame but we would like to congratulate Kurt on his Hall of Fame appointment.”

The big rumor of course is that Angle will be part of the Royal Rumble match the next day as one of the surprise entrants although at this point there is nothing confirming his participation.
