Chris Jericho replaces Rusev in casket match against The Undertaker in Jeddah

The planned casket match between The Undertaker and Rusev at the Greatest Royal Rumble has been changed and Rusev was swapped with Chris Jericho. This will be Jericho’s first casket match of his career.

The WWE.COM article announcing the change blamed Lana’s tweet to WWE objecting to the match, saying that she refuses to let her husband wrestle in a casket match because all over the world, little boys and girls celebrate Rusev Day “and they smile for the greatest Superstar ever.”

Interesting to note is that Rusev has removed all WWE references from his Twitter and Instagram account and now has an enquiries e-mail listed on his Instagram. Two days ago, Rusev sent out a tweet after his casket match involvement was announced saying, “Bury me softly, Brother.”
