Former WWE Cruiserweight champion Rich Swann joins Impact Wrestling

Former WWE Cruiserweight champion Rich Swann will be making his Impact Wrestling debut at the upcoming television tapings in two weeks time.

The tapings will be held at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada on Friday June 1 and Saturday June 2. Swann will be there for both dates.

Swann’s time in WWE lasted a year and a half. He was a participant in the Cruiserweight Classic and then signed to a full-time deal when WWE launched the 205 Live show. Unfortunately for him, he was arrested in December 2017 following a domestic violence incident involving his wife. The much-publicized incident ended up being the worst case scenario for Swann as even though the case against him was dropped by the police, he was released from the company in February of this year.

In March he announced that he would be retiring from professional wrestling but that only lasted a month as he returned at an indie show.
