John Henngian to be part of Survivor: David vs Goliath cast this Fall on CBS

John Hennigan, the artist known as Johnny Mundo, Johnny Impact, and John Morrison, has been cast in the new season of CBS’ Survivor which starts airing this fall.

Titled Survivor: David vs Goliath, this will be the 37th season of the popular reality television series that until now had only one professional wrestler on it to date, and that’s Ashley Massaro from her time as a WWE Diva. She participated in Survivor: China, which was the 15th season.

“This guy that’s known as Johnny Mundo [a.k.a. John Morrison], the mayor of Slamtown. He’s a professional wrestler, he’s gigantic, he’s charming, and he’s smart. He started with advantage, he had a great family, and he’s used all of these skills to slay everybody his entire life,” host and executive producer Jeff Probst told Entertainment Weekly.

Survivor: David vs Goliath has already finished filming in Fiji as Survivor films back-to-back seasons each year. Contestants are sworn to secrecy so we will not know how far Hennigan made it until the show starts airing. Typically, the season finale where the winner will win $1,000,000 airs in December.
