Stephanie McMahon goes undercover on CBS’ Undercover Boss

WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon went undercover as Samantha Miles in last night’s episode of Undercover Boss: Celebrity Edition on CBS. The episode was taped last year in the Orlando area and the reveal took place at the WWE Performance Center.

McMahon met three individuals in the episode: Kenny Marquez, Steven Wright, and Enzo Grande.

Marquez is an openly-gay gymnastics teacher who also wrestles on the indie circuit. He was bullied when he was a kid but also bullied other kids as well and his dream was to become the first-ever gay WWE champion. At the end of the broadcast, McMahon made him an ambassador for the WWE’s Be A STAR campaign, arranged a one-on-one session with Kurt Angle, and also gave him $25,000 as a down payment to help him and his mother get a new house.

Steven Wright is an African American photographer who is seen at certain WWE events. Wright revealed his prosthetic leg and recounted the story how he lost his fingers as well while he was in the Navy. His dream was to become a WWE photographer. At the end of the episode, McMahon appointed Wright as the ringside photographer for the Tribute to the Troops show, gave him $10,000 to buy additional and new photography equipment, and arranged an interview to join the traveling WWE photography team, which he eventually did.

The last person was Enzo Grande, a small kid with leukemia who along with his family are super WWE fans. The parents run a bar and Enzo holds auctions of autographed items with money being donated to charity. After her reveal, Stephanie gave him 12 big cases of WWE action figures that he can distribute to kids in hospitals, matched his $5,000 donation to give to the fight against pediatric cancer, gave the parents $25,000 to help pay the bills, and also arranged a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Enzo to meet all the WWE Superstars at a live event where he was the guest of Stephanie McMahon.
