The most successful WWE wrestlers ever

World Wrestling Entertainment, otherwise known as WWE, is extremely popular all around the world. It’s sports entertainment at its finest, with thrilling and brutal action, gripping storylines, exciting PPV events and rosters packed full of superstars. This is clear to see when looking at the huge increase in media coverage, advertising and sponsorship revenue; as well as the fact that more and more established betting sites such as Unibet covers most of their major tournaments. Over the years, there have been some brilliant wrestlers who have been involved with the WWE. Some have been fans favorites, while others have been superstars many have loved to hate, but out them all, who has been the most successful?

John Cena

John Cena is comfortably one of the most popular WWE stars of all time. He became the public face of the industry itself for a good while and during his time in the ring won a total of 25 championships. Cena also had 16 reigns as champion, with 13 of those as WWE Champion and the other 3 as WWE Heavyweight Champion. His 16 title wins mean both he and Ric Flair are tied for the most championship reigns in history and this is why he’s seen as one of the most successful wrestlers of all time.

The Undertaker

The Undertaker is one of the most recognizable names in WWE history. He began wrestling way back in 1984 and has been involved in some of the industry’s most famous matches and storylines over the years, and he’s rightfully described as a WWE legend by most. In terms of winning titles, he’s been there and done it all, numerous times, but Taker is probably most famous for his WrestleMania streak and record, that were a nightmare for betting sites. The Undertaker won 21 straight matchups at Wrestling’s biggest event, before losing to Brock Lesnar in his 22nd. Since then he has won a further three times, losing once.

Triple H

You could describe Triple H as Mr WWE due to him being a part of the business at all levels, including as a wrestler and an executive. Triple H was a real force to be reckoned with in the ring and you would have been crazy to go to betting sites and back against him, even in the biggest of fights. Aside from being one of the most successful wrestlers the WWE has ever seen, Triple H was also brilliant at bringing storylines to life. He was also involved in numerous matchups that were declared as match of the year too, proving him to be one of the most complete superstars of all time.

The Rock

Has there ever been a wrestler who the fans have loved as much as The Rock? Not only did he bring electrifying ability to the ring, he brought a hell of a lot of personality too, and this made him one of the most popular superstars of all time. The Rock had it all, he could light up the ring with his athletic style, entertain millions with his ability to really bring storylines and feuds to life, while also being able to mix it with the best. He won the WWE Championship 8 times and since pursuing a career in acting, he’s made sporadic appearances in WWE, and has always been well received.
