Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer revealed some details about Brock Lesnar’s future in the WWE in one of his latest podcasts.
Meltzer said that Brock signed a new WWE deal this week that includes two matches, one of which will be at the Survivor Series against AJ Styles. He added that the original plan was for Roman Reigns to retain the Universal title at Crown Jewel but once he was out, McMahon offered a truckload of money to Brock to come back.
As things stand right now, Lesnar does not have a UFC deal but his short contract with WWE will allow him to fight in the UFC if he wants to as it is not exclusive. “Lesnar’s price with UFC probably increases every time his price with WWE increases. In this deal he can do UFC anytime he wants,” Meltzer said.
UFC Heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier called out Brock last night in his UFC 230 post-fight interview and told him to bring his new WWE title with him when he comes to his house.
