WWE tests interactive bracelets with fans at NXT Takeover: WarGames

WWE handed out an electronic bracelet to everyone who attended NXT Takeover: WarGames last night to test a new interactive experience.

The bracelet, similar to a more bulkier FitBit, required a setup by sending a text message to a number and then once activated, the bracelet would change colors during entrances depending on who was coming out.

Judging by feedback posted online, the setup wasn’t as smooth for everyone and many bracelets failed to work when they were supposed to, while others functioned without any issues. WWE also tested some VR recording at Takeover and both the bracelet and the VR could be a sign of things to come to other pay-per-views.
