FOX promotes Smackdown Live on TNF with Jeff Jarrett

FOX promoted Smackdown coming to its network last night during the Thursday Night Football NFL game between the Titans and the Jaguars.

Jeff Jarrett was also in the stadium and was the ceremonial 12th Titan, planting the sword in the middle of the field prior to the game. Jarrett was acknowledged as a WWE Hall of Famer and the broadcast team then said that Smackdown Live is coming to Fox on October 4, 2019. During the plug, a video of Jarrett holding a Smackdown Live shirt was shown.

WWE officially announced the deal with FOX on June 27, a five-year deal which is worth over $1 billion. Smackdown will be moving to Friday nights once it moves to FOX.
