Jerry Lawler’s attorneys file subpoenas to investigate son’s death

FOX13 in Memphis is reporting that Jerry “The King” Lawler’s attorneys have filed two subpoenas to investigate Brian Christopher Lawler’s death.

Brian passed away on July 29 of last year a few hours after he was found hanging in his cell at the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Department. Jerry has always claimed that something was off in the timeline and the photos of his son’s bruisings are inconsistent with hanging. He said last year that he talked to Brian at 11AM on the day he passed away and sounded normal with no signs of being suicidal. To make matters worse, 20 cameras inside the jail weren’t working at the time.

Early in January, FOX13 reported Lawler hired Jeff Rosenblurm of Rosenblurm & Reisman who specializes in wrongful death, catastrophic injury, medical malpractice and civil rights law. Rosenblurm was engaged to pursue a civil rights claim against Hardeman County, and the deputies that were supposed to protect his son.

The subpoenas were issued to both the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
