WWE Money in the Bank 2019 PPV Pick’em Challenge

Hello everybody! It’s the WOPC Champion @TheMagnumDA with you for tonight’s Pick’em Challenge. Tonight, we’re going to make our picks for the Money in the Bank PPV, taking place on the WWE Network! At WrestleMania XXXV, we crowned a NEW Pick’em Champion, and it was….me! Ha!

So tonight, I’m going to defend the Wrestling-Online Pick’em Challenge Championship against Heel Turn Tom and our very own Colin Vassallo! Good luck everybody!

ON WITH THE SHOW!

Pre-Show: Non-Title Match
WWE Smackdown Live Tag Champions Daniel Bryan & Rowan vs. The Usos

Heel Turn Tom: Bryan said this is a tag team revival. AEW is putting a focus on tag teams, so of course WWE will too. Bryan & Rowan win it.

Colin: This is a non-title match, makes guessing the ending a bit more difficult. I’m going for The Usos for the win.

Magnum: I’m thinking Usos, too. I think they are going to bypass the Uso/Revival feud and just go straight for the Raw titles.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Tony Nese (c) vs. Ariya Daivari

Heel Turn Tom: Good for WWE to not make the cruiserweights part of the pre-show. These two will get to show off as they start the official show. Tony Nese will hits the 450 splash to get the win.

Colin: They escaped the Kickoff show! OH MY GOD! MAMMA MIA! Okay, Tony Nese retains the title.

Magnum: Settle down, Mauro Vassallo! Haha…I’ll also take Nese to retain. He’s the man for now!

WWE United States Championship
Samoa Joe (c) vs. Rey Mysterio

Heel Turn Tom: I like the US title on Joe. He needs a universal or world championship run, but this is a good spot for him. Joe will make Rey tap out to the Coquina Clutch.

Colin: I like Samoa Joe. Does Rey have another title run in him? Probably, but not yet. Samoa Joe retains.

Magnum: I think Rey wins, and this ticks Joe off to the point that he puts Dominic in the middle of this.

WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lacey Evans

Heel Turn Tom: There is no way that they end Becky 2 Belts. My guess is this is Becky’s second match. If WWE has a funny bone in them, Lacy walks out, turns around, and gets counted out. Becky to win this match with a roll-up or Paul Smackage.

Colin: I would be really, really surprised if Lacey Evans picks up the victory here. I’m guessing Becky2Belts will still carry the Raw Women’s title after this is over.

Magnum: Paul Who? 😀 I think there’s going to be some kind of chicanery here. Give me Becky to retain, but she’s going to win by some kind of DQ caused by Charlotte. I’m thinking their match (Becky vs. Charlotte) goes on later in the night.

Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match – WINNING PICK WORTH THREE POINTS!
Sami Zayn vs. Ricochet vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Baron Corbin vs. Ali vs. Finn Bálor vs. Andrade vs. Randy Orton

Heel Turn Tom: This match will see Ali and Balor take big bumps, but bump of the night goes to Ricochet. WWE has two babyface champs and I see them still having two babyface champs after tonight. So the heel push will go to Drew McIntyre. If Drew’s push goes over as well as Jinder Mahal’s, WWE still can push Heath Slater to a Three Man Band championship hat trick.

Colin: I’m thinking either Drew or Andrade. Last year it went to Braun Strowman who failed to cash in. Drew vs Rollins sounds interesting, so I’m going with McIntyre.

Magnum: You know, the way McIntyre is so juiced these days, you know a push is coming. So…here comes that push. Drew wins.

Women’s MITB Ladder Match – WINNING PICK WORTH THREE POINTS!
Natalya vs. Dana Brooke vs. Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley vs. Mandy Rose vs. Ember Moon vs. Carmella

Heel Turn Tom: With Becky as the champ of both shows, WWE will need a competitor for her. I was liking Alexa to be a two time money in the back winner, but she is out. It feels like WWE and Corey Graves are all in on Mandy Rose and I see her getting the push and win.

Colin: Was hoping to see Alexa Bliss in this match. But I guess not yet. Tough one this one. I’m guessing Mandy Rose wins.

Magnum: I’m going to stick with Bayley. They had her involved with a lot of interactions early in April, and I think she’s going to get in the mix with Becky very soon, possibly at the expense of turning heel.

Roman Reigns vs. Elias

Heel Turn Tom: Elias is another star that the WWE is not pushing when hot, AKA Rusev Day. Roman will get the spear and 1-2-3 over Elias.

Colin: I got two words for you: Roman Reigns.

Magnum: Elias should be thankful he’s getting this spot. Reigns wins. Collision course for Drew vs. Roman is coming.

WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
Becky Lynch (c) vs. Charlotte Flair

Heel Turn Tom: See previous Becky statement and don’t see the Becky run ending today. Hopefully this is the first match when Becky is fresh. Becky locks in the Dis-arm-her on Charlotte to win by submission. Wild card finish is Lacey does a run in to DQ Charlotte and start her match.

Colin: Becky needs to move from Charlotte Flair. And Charlotte needs to move from Becky. This has been done a million times. Hopefully this will be the last one for a while. Becky wins.

Magnum: I think Becky gets her revenge on Charlotte tonight, ending their feud once and for all…for a while, at least. I think the real story that will continue is Becky vs. Lacey, which will continue into June.

Steel Cage Match
The Miz vs. Shane McMahon

Heel Turn Tom: I don’t know why this feud is going on or why anyone cares still. If WWE is not secretly hiring back Punk, then there is no pay off for the Best in the World feud. Shane will take a big bump, but The Miz will win this battle.

Colin: The Miz must get his win back here. Can’t lose two gimmick matches in a row, right? But then again…it’s against a McMahon. But I’m keeping The Miz.

Magnum: If Shane wins this, I’m done. Miz wins, possibly with help from GEORGE.

WWE Championship
Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Kevin Owens

Heel Turn Tom: Looking at card I need some title changes, but don’t see WWE ending Kofi-mania at Kofi In the Bank. There will be Trouble in Paradise to the Kofi victory.

Colin: Kofi is going to Ghana as WWE champion later this month. Everything is already set. There’s no going back on that one. That alone is enough for picking Kofi.

Magnum: I think Owens will be the guy to beat Kofi for the WWE Title. I just don’t think it will be tonight. Kofi retains.

WWE Universal Championship
Seth Rollins (c) vs. AJ Styles

Heel Turn Tom: This match should be at Summerslam or Survivor Series. I don’t feel like this will be the show-stealer it could be. Seth will curb stomp AJ to remain WWE champion. No title changes tonight. I hope they do a screwjob or MITB cash-in to do a proper set up rematch for these two.

Colin: Should be a fantastic match. Two of the best performers in pro wrestling today. This will be the first of a few PPV matches between these two. Round one goes to Seth Rollins.

Magnum: So, we don’t have any points for possible cash-in’s…but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Seth Rollins retain the Universal Championship in a fantastic match, only for Drew McIntyre to cash in and become the Universal Champion. You read it here first!

That’s going to do it for the Pick’em Challenge! Enjoy the show! See you next month when the WOPC Championship puts his strap on the line! MagnumDA signing off.
