Ashley Massaro was found hanging in her home, funeral service today

Ashley Massaro, the former WWE Diva who passed away last week, was found hanging in her home as new details emerge from this tragedy according to TMZ.

Massaro, who was 39-years-old, had been battling depression for a long time and raised a red flag when she did not show up to work on Thursday morning at a local radio station.

TMZ sources who know of the situation said that she was unconscious inside her home in Suffolk County, New York, and was rushed to a nearby hospital where EMTs tried to resurrect her but to no avail.

Yesterday we published her horrific affidavit where she recounted how she was raped by a member of the U.S. military in 2006 while on a two-week tour with WWE in the Middle East and the company did everything to hide the news to preserve their relationship with the military.

The former Diva Search winner’s funeral service is being held today at 11AM at the Branch Funeral Home in Smithtown, New york and will then be laid to rest at St. James Episcopal Cemetery.
