Court hearing of Bret Hart’s attacker Zachary Madsen postponed again, now set for September

The hearing of Zachary Madsen, the one who attacked Bret Hart at the Hall of Fame ceremony in April of this year, was postponed for the fifth time on Tuesday, with the judge now setting another date for September 9 according to PWInsider.com.

It’s not known why his arraignment keeps getting postponed every time and local coverage has been sparse with no news outlets in Brooklyn following the case.

Madsen is facing two counts of assault in the third degree and criminal trespassing for his actions a few months ago. Madsen attacked Bret Hart from behind on the stage at the ceremony, tackling the former WWE champion and his niece Natalya before a number of WWE Superstars jumped on stage to protect them.
