Schedule of events switched up for WrestleMania 36

WWE will be switching things up once again next year in terms of the WrestleMania weekend events.

With Smackdown now live on Friday nights, WrestleMania week will end one day sooner, on Monday, but will start a day earlier than usual, on a Thursday.

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be kicking off the festivities next year on Thursday, April 2 with Smackdown taking place live on Friday, April 3. NXT Takeover will be on Saturday, April 4 and WrestleMania on Sunday, April 5 with Raw closing out the week on Monday, April 6. Axxess will run from Thursday to Monday.

Earlier this year, WWE moved NXT Takeover to Friday night during WrestleMania 35 due to the big ROH/NJPW show at Madison Square Garden on Saturday and had the Hall of Fame on Saturday. In previous years, NXT aired on Saturday night with the Hall of Fame taking place on Friday.

Next year, the Hall of Fame, Smackdown, NXT, and Raw will all be taking place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa while Axxess will take place at the Tampa Convention Center.
