Starrcade 2019 steel cage main event changes

WWE will be presenting its now-annual Starrcade non-televised live event on December 1 live from the Infinite Energy Center in Duluth, Georgia. An hour from the show will stream on the WWE Network although at this point it wasn’t announced which matches will be featured in that live broadcast.

WWE has reshuffled the card a little bit and it will be now headlined by The Fiend Bray Wyatt taking on his former Wyatt Family member Braun Strowman in a steel cage match for the Universal title. The steel cage match was the main event of the first-ever Starrcade show back in 1983 and WWE has closed their own version of Starrcade with a steel cage as well over the past two years.

The Miz was supposed to wrestle Wyatt in the main event but now Miz sees himself taking on Shinsuke Nakamura for the Intercontinental title. Other title matches of this dual-branded show has Kabuki Warriors vs Lynch and Flair in a Texas Tornado match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles, AJ Styles vs Kevin Owens for the United States title, and The New Day vs The Revival for the Smackdown Tag Team titles.

Starrcade 2019 is nearly sold out but tickets are still available for purchase.
