Talent crossover to resume on Raw and Smackdown

As first reported by John Pollock of POST Wrestling, WWE will be doing another brand crossover with certain Superstars from Raw and Smackdown appearing on both brands.

While the move will be kept to a minimum, it comes at the request of both USA Network and FOX according to a source quoted by Pollock. Ratings for both Raw and Smackdown have tanked since WWE moved to empty arena shows, losing a good chunk of their audience and with their top stars missing every week due to the pandemic, crossing over some star power is seen as a temporary fix.

Meanwhile on Raw after McIntyre defeated Andrade, the WWE champion mentioned the “brand to brand” stipulation and said that Raw chose to bring over someone next week who chose to wrestle him and that person is…King Corbin!

WWE had a wild card rule last year which was stopped once the draft was held in October.
