Anonymous donor gives $40,000 to Shad Gaspard’s GoFundMe campaign

The GoFundMe campaign set up for Shad Gaspard got over the $100,000 line after someone anonymous donated $40,000, the figure required to reach the original goal of the campaign. The name that accompanied the figure was simply listed as CTC RIP, with many wondering if it was indeed John Cena since Cena teamed up with Cryme Tyme in 2008 to form the CTC – Cryme Tyme Cenation faction.

As of now, over $104,000 are in the can for the Gaspard family who will be using these funds to pay for bills, cover expenses, and save for Aryeh’s college fund. The campaign was started by friends of the family yesterday.

Several wrestlers and other wrestling personalities donated to the campaign including Tony Khan, Cody and Brandi Rhodes, Rusev, Chris Jericho, and many others.

Shad Gaspard’s story and his last heroic act has captivated the wrestling industry over the past several days with tributes coming in from all corners of the globe. The wrestling community then came together to donate massive amounts of money despite the terrible situation many find themselves in due to the current pandemic.
