How do our favorite wrestlers stay sane in lockdown?

2020 sure did take us in an unexpected rollercoaster ride of events. And probably this year’s highlight, the COVID-19 pandemic, forced us to stay home and banished the way of life we all knew. No more malls to stroll out to, no dining out to your favorite Japanese restaurant, and definitely no gyms to keep your body buffed!

Athletes are in a complicated position as gyms are closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, yet the show must go on. So, how do you think our favorite WWE wrestlers are doing? Let’s see how they keep their sanity in isolation! And there’s no better way to stay sane than to keep their bodies fit and active!

Workout Like a Champ

The two all-time favorite wrestlers, WWE champion Drew McIntyre and SmackDown Superstar Sheamus treat us with a short peek on how they workout at the luxury of being at home.

The Scottish Superstar quickly constructed his own gym-at-home in March the moment once gyms shut down amid the COVID-19 outbreak. Mclntyre uses this makeshift gym for working out his legs, including DDP Yoga, squats, step-ups and hamstring curls, to prepare for his WrestleMania 36 match against Brock Lesnar. This was, without a doubt, a smart move for McIntyre, as he went on to beat The Beast Incarnate, becoming the WWE champion for the first time in his career. He definitely thrived at his craft, beating Lesnar, and having numerous entertaining matches on Raw and put on a great performance against Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank. Meanwhile, Sheamus dominated the show in several squash match wins and his recent feud with Jeff Hardy. And they did all of this while being stuck during the pandemic!

Nikki Bella is surely impressive to watch in the ring, and this is thanks to her routine. The Total Divas and Total Bellas star says she uses free weights to tone her arms and squats for her legs, which is great for her joints. She also loves doing the elliptical that gets her a great amount of sweat on and burn calories.

Eat Like a Beast

Of course, keeping those muscles pumped up is not all about working out. What you eat makes a significant difference! And here’s what Seth Rollins love to devour after an intense workout. The six-time WWE/Raw Tag Team Champion admits that he’s a major fan of eating real food, eating a lot of it! For Rollins, eating is not a chore so he does not limit his meals calorically, he just goes with the flow.

On the other hand, Charlotte Flair is the exact opposite of Rollins. She’s the type of person who has to preplan every meal. She just loves food and there’s nothing worse than being hungry. The NXT Women’s champion could literally eat four Quest bars at one time, so she tries to stay away from protein bars because she loves them. She’ll have all of her meals prepped in a lunch box for a day. Of course, this includes tuna packets, oatmeal, nuts, peanut butter, and rice cake. To add a little color, Charlotte mixes some apples, avocados, spinach, turkey, and sliced chicken to the meal.

Keeping Up With the News

Truly, it is easy to be overwhelmed and stressed out by all the information bombarded in every media outlet about the coronavirus. But the last thing you want to be during this crisis is to be misinformed. And John Cena takes a stand for the truth. The 16-time world champion joined the Last Week Tonight host John Oliver in exposing the prevalence and spread of coronavirus conspiracy theories.

John Cena, along with other widely-trusted public figures, pleaded the viewers to try and combat the spread of these dangerous rumors by being compassionate and encouraging people to ask questions for themselves, instead of confronting people and shaming them for their beliefs.

Of course, we are all entitled to our opinions. But it’s important that we stand for what is true. And the internet is an infinite library of both truth and lies! So it’s just as crucial as ever to get your facts straight. One way to make the internet safe is by reporting scams, or just like the opposite side of the world calls it, 먹튀 신고. By exposing all the scam and malicious sites, you can keep away from online danger.

So how do our favorite wrestlers stay sane in lockdown? They work out like a champ, eat like a beast, and keep up with the most reliable and credible news.
