Intercontinental title match bumped off to the WrestleMania pre-show

The Intercontinental title match between The Miz and Wade Barrett has been bumped off the pay-per-view and is now part of the pre-show festivities.

The pre-show will kick off at 6PM EST with the pay-per-view starting an hour afterward. In the past, pre-show matches occupied part of the 30 minutes countdown show however this time around it has been extended for an hour.

The pre-show will air on WWE.COM, YouTube, Facebook, and the WWE app free of charge.

It’s interesting to note that The Miz went from headlining WrestleMania 27 against John Cena in Atlanta to just wrestling on the pre-show two years afterward. Ouch!

Fans inside the MetLife Stadium will sit in the cold for a pretty cool five hours in total if they attend the pre-show as well. Good times!
