The 2021 NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic to kick off on January 13

NXT is bringing back the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament and it will start on the January 13 episode of NXT on USA Network.

Only one team was announced but the full bracket and all participants are scheduled to be revealed on the New Year’s Evil themed episode next Wednesday on January 6. The Undisputed Era, a staple in this tournament will be represented by the team of Adam Cole and Roderick Strong for the 2021 tournament.

The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament has been held every year since 2015 although the company skipped on the tournament in 2017. The inaugural winners were Finn Balor and Samoa Joe, with The Authors of Pain Adam Cole and Kylie O’Reilly, Aleister Black and Ricochet, and Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne as the winners so far.
