Impact Wrestling reactivates the TNA World title

The TNA World title that Moose has been carrying for a while has now been sanctioned as another title in Impact Wrestling.

The sanction came yesterday during Impact on AXS TV when Impact Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore informed Moose that he’s activating the title again and that he would be defending it against Jake Something later in the night.

After successfully defending the TNA title, Moose also got what he wanted, an Impact World title match against Rich Swann at the upcoming Sacrifice Impact Plus-only event.

The TNA title that Moose carries was retired after Destination X in 2017 when the GFW Global Championship belt became the only one in use, a title belt which was eventually replaced again after Impact and GFW parted ways.
