WWE begins residency at The Yuengling Center today

WWE begins its four-month residency at The Yuengling Center tonight in Tampa with the post-WrestleMania Raw.

Opened in 1980, The Yuengling Center sits on the campus of the University of South Florida and is the third WWE ThunderDome location following the Amway Center and Tropicana Field.

The Yuengling Center is formerly known as the USF Sun Dome where the 1995 WWE Royal Rumble took place. WWE also held a few Saturday Night’s Main Event shows in the 80s while both UFC and Bellator also held events there several years ago.

According to their website, the residency at The Yuengling Center will last till August 3, 2021. WWE intends to resume touring in the second half of 2021 if the coronavirus pandemic remains stable.
