Announcers confirmed for the Knockouts Knockdown Impact Plus event

With the Knockouts Knockdown Impact Plus event close to start taping this weekend, the promotion has announced who will be calling the action at this all-female show.

Veda Scott, who also did commentary for the AEW Women’s Tag Team Cup tournament, will be the lead play-by-play for the show and will be helped by Mickie James as the color commentator. Impact’s Melissa Santos will be handling the in-ring announcing for the whole event.

Knockouts Knockdown will be recorded this coming weekend as part of Impact’s three-day television tapings at Skyway Studios starting tomorrow. Tickets are still available for the shows. It will then air on October 9 as a stand alone show exclusively on the Impact Plus streaming service.

The only women announced for the show so far are Impact Knockouts champion Deonna Purrazzo, Mercedes Martinez, Lady Frost, and Renee Michelle. A Monster’s Ball match will be held to honor Daffney, who recently passed away.
