William Regal and others fired as old guard at NXT gets gutted

The bloodshed continued at the WWE Performance Center with a total of 11 personnel cut from the NXT brand.

Apart from Road Dogg, others included William Regal, Timothy Thatcher, Scott Armstrong, George Caroll, Ryan Katz, Hideki Suzuki, Cathy Corino, Danny Burch, Chris Guy, and Dave Kapoor.

Kapoor, who at one point was the SVP of Creative at WWE, and Ryan Katz, ran the creative at NXT.

William Regal is obviously another surprise cut and Triple H’s right hand man in the brand. Regal, who has not been seen as NXT GM since the 2.0 launch, also recruited stars for the company and has been working there for 21 years.

Suzuki, Thatcher, and Burch were wrestlers and the rest were all either trainers or producers within the brand.
