Former IWGP Heavyweight champion “Switchblade” Jay White will be participating in the January 21 and 22 Impact Wrestling television tapings which will be held in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
White has not appeared on Impact since mid last year and appeared at the company’s Slammiversary pay-per-view where he confronted Kenny Omega, Doc Gallows, and Karl Anderson at the end of the show.
The popular 29-year-old from New Zealand is under contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling and is the leader of the Bullet Club faction. White is frequently seen on NJPW Strong, which is taped in the United States, as he has not been traveling to Japan due to the coronavirus pandemic.
White last held the NEVER Openweight title but lost it in November of last year to Tomohiro Ishii. He is the first-ever NJPW Grand Slam champion.
