Monday Night Raw TV report for 03/07/2022

Arena: Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse Center

Raw opens with a recap of what happened with Brock Lesnar and the Bloodline and Paul Heyman from Madison Square Gardens this past Saturday.

Out first were Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins to talk about the triple threat tag team title match scheduled for later tonight. Alpha Academy comes out telling Owens to Shoosh. RK-Bro are interviewed backstage and say they have to win by any means necessary to take the titles back.

Kevin Owens & Seth Rollins VS. RK–Bro VS. Alpha Academy for the Raw Tag Team Championships

Lots of action…Randy Orton hits the RKO on Chad Gable until Owens pulls Orton out of the ring. RK-Bro then team up to slam Otis on the announce table. Owens hits the Stunner on Gable then Rollins hits the stomp only to have Riddle throw him out of the ring and Orton stopping Owens from going back in the ring. Riddle pins Gable for the win.

Winners And New Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro

After the match RK-Bro celebrate in the ring as Alpha Academy walked to the back first looking back disappointed. Then Rollins walks toward the back with a distant look in his eyes and Owens is shown sitting by the ring steps shaking his head.

Riddle says this win means they are going to WrestleMania and Orton says he has been doing this for more than 20 years and he has never had this much fun as he is having right now and he is going to say the “F” word for the first time and he turned to Riddle and said that Riddle is his friend.

Dana Brooke VS. Tamina for the 24/7 Championship

After Tamina held Brooke in the Boston Crab for what seemed like forever, Brooke powered out rolling Tamina up for the 3 count.

Winner and still 24/7 Champion Dana Brooke

In the back Seth Rollins, still with a glare in his eyes, is asked about his match and possibly missing WrestleMania. Rollins does not answer and just stares.

Next out is The Miz and after they show the interview with the Mysterios from last week he announces Logan Paul. After Paul comes out and talks about being from Cleveland, The Miz announces their guest Jerry “The King” Lawler who comes out wearing a Cleveland Browns football Jersey.

Lawler says he is looking at Miz standing under the WrestleMania sign and asks what he thought about having WrestleMania in Cleveland.

Miz said Cleveland can’t handle WrestleMania and says he doesn’t live in Cleveland anymore. Miz says he and Paul were leaving because winners leave Cleveland. As Lawler is left standing in the ring, The Miz and Paul walk to the back.

They show what has been happening with the Dirty Dawgs, Tommaso Ciampa and Bron Breakker. In the back Tommaso Ciampa and Bron Breakker are interviewed.

Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode VS. Tommaso Ciampa and NXT Champion Bron Breakker

Breakker picked Ziggler up over his head till Roode got on the ring distracted Breakker who dropped Ziggler and went after Roode. Ziggler from behind for the roll up for a 2 count, Breakker then went into the ring pole then Ziggler hit a Zig Zag. Ciampa broke that pin up then took Roode out with a knee kick to the head. Breakker gets up hits Ziggler with the power slam for the pin.

Winners: Tommaso Ciampa & Bron Breakker

Omos in the back said he is taking his WrestleMania moment!

Omos VS. Apollo Crews

Not much offense by Crews, chokeslam by Omos for the pin.

Winner: Omos

After the match Commander Aziz was checking on Crews and a stare down with Omos who laughs at Aziz.

They show what happened with Edge and AJ Styles last week.

Edge is introduced as his music starts then stops as Edge makes his way out under dark lights dressed in a suit with no tie and untucked shirt.

Edge gets in the ring and just stands there while some people chanting for him and some booing him. He then says “you thing you know me?” He then begins to talk to AJ Styles by saying he did what he did last week because he wants the best A.J. at WrestleMania.

They show RK–Bro’s title win, then Kevin Owens is interviewed in the back and ask what is going on in his mind right now. Owens says he will never feel how he felt at the end of that match and he has a plan and will share that plan by the end of tonight.

Liv Morgan & Rhea Ripley VS. Carmella & Queen Zelina

If Morgan and Ripley win they will be added to the Women’s tag team title match at WrestleMania.

After tagging in Zelina, Carmella goes out and holds hands and talks to Cory Graves at the announce desk. As Zelina tried getting Carmella to return to the ring to help her Ripley hits the rip tide for the win and the Women’s Tag Team title match at WrestleMania is now a triple threat match.

Winners: Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan

They show what happened between Damian Priest and Finn Balor last week after Balor beat Priest for the United States Championship and Priest attacked Balor.

During the break they announce Vader is being inducted into the Hall of Fame.

They then show a clip of Mr. McMahon offering Pat McAfee a match at WrestleMania on the Pat McAfee show and then showed Austin Theory announcing he was McAfee’s opponent.

Finn Balor VS. Austin Theory

Good back and forth match until Balor was closing in for the victory series of moves goes up to the top only to be grabbed by the throat by Damian Priest causing the disqualification.

Winner by DQ: Finn Balor

They show what happened with Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch last week. Bianca Belair is interviewed in the back and says she has one rule don’t touch my hair and she is going to end Lynch’s title run at WrestleMania.

Kevin Owens music hits and he comes back out to the ring. Owens said he wants to offer a challenge and have the biggest Kevin Owens show of all time and knows it needs to be a lowlife from Texas and says he could ask JBL but his horns on his limo would be more interesting so no thanks. Or Booker T, but he spent most of his career in a tag team called Harlem Heat so there is no thanks. Then there is the one and only Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels, one of the greatest of all time. But he is not invited.

He has the perfect guest in mind and he talks about letting himself go, drinking beer, and bad knees and then he said the bottom line is he is calling him out…STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN!
