Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal to be held on Smackdown in Dallas

The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal will be taking place on Friday Night Smackdown next week. This is the second time in a row that this match will be held on Smackdown rather than at WrestleMania.

Those advertised on the graphic scheduled to be part of the match include U.S. champion Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Robert Roode, Shelton Benjamin, Jinder Mahal, Commander Azeez, Shanky, Reggie, Akira Tozawa, Madcap Moss, Apollo Crews, R-Truth, Mansoor, Cedric Alexander, Drew Gulak, and The Viking Raiders.

WWE introduced the match in 2014 at WrestleMania XXX and was held ever since – except in 2020 during the pandemic. Cesaro, Big Show, Baron Corbin, Mojo Rawley, Matt Hardy, Braun Strowman, and Jey Uso are the previous winners. The winner of this battle royal get the Andre trophy and nothing else.

The Intercontinental title will also be defended on Smackdown as it looks like it’s going to be absent from the WrestleMania card. Ricochet will defend his title against Humberto in Dallas.
