Pat McAfee: “Last night was f*cking awesome”

To say that Pat McAfee enjoyed his WrestleMania experience is an understatement. It is the first time that the former NFL player has participated in the event as an in-ring performer and he shared the stage with Vince McMahon, Steve Austin, and Austin Theory.

McAfee left Dallas this morning to continue his other business – hosting his popular usual radio show titled The Pat McAfee Show. And McAfee didn’t waste time to talk about his WrestleMania debut, calling it a dream come true.

“I had the time of my life. Last night, I should have been undefeated at WrestleMania and then I got…you know, set up,” McAfee said, referring to having a second match against Vince McMahon.

“I got bamboozled. There’s no way that was a sanctioned match. So, I’m still undefeated at WrestleMania,” McAfee said.

McAfee put over Austin Theory and said he was very fortunate to be there with him, labeling him as a “good kid.” He thanked everyone for “everything,” especially the Internet wrestling community who showed him a lot of love yesterday. “Last night was a f*cking dream and you all are the best.”

McAfee also had a special thank you to WWE for getting the rights to the massively popular song Seven Nation Army, performed by The White Stripes. When the song hit the speakers, the AT&T Stadium came alive, especially when the chorus kicked in as fans sang it many times during the match. He said it was the perfect entrance and something that he thought about million times over.

After the match with McMahon, Stone Cold came down to give the Theory and the boss Stunners. McAfee was invited over by Austin for a beer and also ended up eating a Stunner, saying that he had no idea that was happening.
