WWE cancels upcoming NXT UK television tapings

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE has canceled the next two sets of NXT UK television tapings as the BT Sport Studios in London are being used for football coverage.

Rather than going to a different location, WWE has apparently scrapped these tapings and Meltzer said that the decision has brought some uneasiness with it as NXT UK staff fear for their future.

PWInsider.com also adds to the story that currently there are no future TV tapings for NXT UK scheduled to happen in the United Kingdom so that could mean two things: either tapings are moving to the U.S. or the brand is getting scrapped.

Several NXT UK stars will be traveling to the United States this month so there could be a plan where the show will be filmed in Orlando.
