In the same press release announcing the launch of NXT Europe, WWE also revealed that NXT: Worlds Collide will be the next premium live event and will air live on Sunday, September 4.
The date is the same one as AEW’s All Out but WWE will not be going head-to-head with it as the show will begin at 4PM ET and will end in time for All Out. This will also be the day after the Clash at the Castle event in Cardiff, Wales.
Shawn Michaels described Worlds Collide as some sort of a “pseudo-final event for NXT UK” in comments with British-based Metro news.
This is the second Worlds Collide event featuring NXT vs NXT UK talent. The first one was held in January 2020 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, on the eve of the Royal Rumble and was headlined by Imperium vs The Undisputed Era in an eight-man tag team match.
