AEW star Kyle O’Reilly will be out of action for the next couple of months as he has just undergone neck fusion surgery.
The former Undisputed Era and reDRagon member posted a few stories on his Instagram from the hospital indicating he did the procedure. O’Reilly hasn’t appeared on AEW television since early August when he showed up with Adam Cole and Bobby Fish. His reDRagon tag team partner Fish is now a free agent and no longer under an AEW contract.
While neck fusion surgery doesn’t have a long recovery in hospital, it will take him a few months before he’s allowed to take bumps in the ring and resume his regular schedule.
The 35-year-old recently signed a long-term deal with AEW.
