Monday Night Raw TV report for 04/03/2023

Raw opens with a recap of WrestleMania.

Triple H comes to the ring. He wants to thank the performers, the staff, even the camera men. He then thanked the most important people in all of the WWE, the WWE Universe. He said that WWE is not going anywhere after the announcement of today’s sale and like it says in the beginning, then, now, together, forever.

Triple H then announces the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and asks we acknowledge him.

After Roman asks Hollywood to acknowledge him, Cody Rhodes’ music hits. Cody comes to the ring holding his ribs. Cody says he just has one word. REMATCH! Heyman asks for the microphone and says when would you like this hypothetical rematch and Cody says tonight. Heyman says no rematch, not tonight and listed a bunch of dates in the future and repeatedly says no.

Cody then challenges Roman and Solo to a tag team match. Heyman says your challenge is accepted with two parameters: 1: Must be someone that wrestled this past weekend at WrestleMania and 2: Whoever walks down that ramp and tags with you and you lose they will never get a shot at Roman Reigns and the championship. So what do you want to talk about now, Cody?

Brock Lesnar’s music hits to a standing ovation and Heyman looks scared to death. Brock gets in the ring and shakes Cody’s hand and Roman and Solo back out of the ring.

Omos VS. Elias

Elias did not get much offense before Omos gave him the chokeslam.

Winner: Omos

The Usos knocked on Roman Reigns’ door and Heyman told them he was discussing strategy with Solo and told them to just go get on the jet and help themselves to the buffet.

A recap of the Hall of Fame was shown.

Cathy Kelly out at ringside interviews Bad Bunny. He is happy to be the host of Backlash. He is grateful for everything.

Rey Mysterio comes to the ring. Rey thanks everyone and special thanks to Bad Bunny. Austin Theory then interrupts. Austin says he is going to add Rey to his collection.

Rey Mysterio VS. Austin Theory

Rey sets Austin up for 619 but out of nowhere Dominik is up on the apron, Rey hits him and continues to deliver the 619 to Austin but Austin catches Rey, turns him into A-Town Down and Theory gets the win.

Winner: The United States Champion Austin Theory

After the match, Dominik attacks Rey. Dominik then turns his attention to Bad Bunny. After words are exchanged, Bunny smacks Dominik. Priest then pulls Bunny over the barricade. Bunny gets up and pushes Priest, then hits Dominik again. Priest then clears the announce table and gives Bunny a chokeslam through the announce desk. Dominik gets back in the ring and starts kicking him again.

In the back, Adam Pearce scolds Damian Priest for what he did to Bad Bunny.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are out in the ring next. The crowd chants you deserve it. Kevin says you know what we do deserve it but all of you deserve it too. Kevin wants a fight and gives out an open challenge. The Street Profits come out and compliment Kevin and Sami and they congratulate them, but they also won at WrestleMania.

After Ford takes out both Kevin and Sami on the floor, he rolls Kevin in and goes to the top rope but Kevin moves and tags Sami. Kevin gives Ford and Stunner, Sami then pushes Ford into the corner and Sami hits the Helluva kick and the champs win.

Winners: the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

Seth Rollins is interviewed in the back and says he sent Logan Paul and all his social media people packing but something is missing and the party is not back here the party is out there and tells them to play his song as he comes to the stage. Seth didn’t say anything else and just enjoyed the fans singing his song.

In the back Bobby Lashley is interviewed and was not happy about standing in front of the WrestleMania crowd and not compete. Bronson Reed says Lashley taught him how to lose. Lashley challenged Reed to a match, Reed said no. Mustafa Ali comes in and tells Lashley he needs to stop taking no for an answer and Lashley says I should just take someone down to the ring and maul them right now. Ali said yes and Lashley said since no one else is around it has to be you and Ali said no I was just trying to help.

Bobby Lashley VS. Mustafa Ali

It wasn’t long before Ali found himself in the Hurt Lock.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair is the next one out in the ring. Bianca is quickly interrupted by the new Smackdown Women’s champion Rhea Ripley. Rhea said she is lucky she didn’t choose her but her day is coming and Bianca said when she is ready we will find out who the best of best truly is.

Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez VS. Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai

The winners get a tag team title match. Raquel hits a Chicano bomb on Dakota, then Liv hit Oblivion on her and they get the win.

Winners: Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez

The Miz asks if everyone enjoyed WrestleMania and all the surprises were for him and he had to wrestle four matches. As the Miz said he is done with surprises, Matt Riddle returns. Riddle says surprise…did you miss me? Miz attacks Riddle. Riddle gets the upper hand and hits Broderick on the Miz.

Trish Stratus, Lita and Becky Lynch are interviewed backstage and are happy about the outcome of WrestleMania and look forward to facing Raquel and Liv next week on Monday Night Raw.

Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa VS. Brock Lesnar & Cody Rhodes

After the introductions, Brock gave Cody an F5. Then a second F5 as Reigns, Solo and Heyman leave the ring. Brock just continued to beat Cody including an F5 through the announce desk. Brock sets half the steps up in the ring and throws Cody back in the ring and another F5 on the steps. Multiple officials come in to help Cody as Brock leaves the ring as the show goes off the air Brock is shown walking back toward the ring and giving the cameras the middle finger.

Winners: Match never started
