Monday Night Raw TV report for 04/17/2023

Arena: Simmons Bank Arena
City: North Little Rock, AR

Paul Heyman, Solo Sikoa and The Usos are out to the ring first. As Paul started talking, he is interrupted by the Judgment Day. Damian steps to Solo then Paul says Mr. Priest thank you sir and Damian steps back. Paul says there is a short-term deal in place with the Judgment Day and the Bloodline. Jey says they knew nothing about this, and Paul said only Solo did. Paul says the Judgment Day wants the Bad Bunny problem and Solo will take care of that and they have a Sami Zayn problem, a Kevin Owens problem and a Matt Riddle problem and then announced the Judgment Day will go against Owens, Zayn and Riddle tonight. And Solo will face Rey Mysterio tonight.

Rey Mysterio VS. Solo Sikoa

During the match The Usos come back to ringside but the L.W.O. come out and fight them off. Rey was able to catch Solo with a 619 but misses the splash and Solo grabs Rey and hits the Samoan Spike for the win.

Winner: Solo Sikoa

After the match the Usos come into the ring, and they all begin taking out the L.W.O.

Alpha Academy is in Adam Pearce’s office and Maxine comes in and talks to Otis until Pearce kicks them all out.

Bianca Belair VS. Dakota Kai

Bianca hits KOD after Kai misses hitting her with a knee in the corner and gets the win.

Winner: The Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair

Cody Rhodes comes to the ring and immediately calls out Brock Lesnar and Adam Pearce comes out and says he cannot do it and he is not medically cleared to do that tonight. Cody said he would leave…then he went and grabbed a chair. Pearce then calls out people to help Cody leave the ring tonight.

As security surrounds him he does not move. Brock Lesnar comes out. Pearce says he will give Cody the match with Brock, May 6th at Backlash but he can’t do this tonight. Brock tells him to come get some. Cody then started taking out the security with the chair. As he jumps out of the ring to go after Brock, more security stop him. He gets rid of them then as he almost gets to Brock another group of security stops him. Brock laughs and turns around and goes to the back as Cody continues to beat the security. Cody then said he has been around cowboys his entire life and Brock is not a cowboy, he is a coward.

The Miz VS. Seth “Freakin” Rollins

The Miz immediately attacks Rollins, Seth battles back to hit the stomp for the win. Best match Miz has had in a while.

Winner: Seth “Freakin” Rollins

Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Matt Riddle are in the back talking about their upcoming matches.

Bobby Lashley VS. Austin Theory

As Lashley got Theory hooked in the hurt lock. Bronson Reed attacked Lashley as Theory pushed Lashley against the ropes.

Winner by Disqualification: Bobby Lashley

Reed beats down Lashley and ends with a splash off the top rope.

Trish Stratus is in the ring and complained Becky never said thanks for opening the door for her and never said thank you for anything. She addmitted she took out Lita. She says she is no one’s sidekick, she is the greatest of all time and she is here to make sure none of us forget it.

Cathy Kelly interviews Cody Rhodes and asks if he is satisfied with Brock Lesnar accepting his challenge and Cody says he is.

Candace LeRae & Mia Yim VS. Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green

Mia was fighting Sonya and did not know a tag was made and Chelsea comes in and hits an unprettier type maneuver for the win.

Winners: Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green

After the match, they threw a drink on Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan who were sitting at the commentary table for the match. Green and Deville face Rodriguez and Morgan for the Women’s Tag Team Championship on Friday Night Smackdown.

The Street Profits, Elias and Rick Boogs are talking about the draft and Boogs says he can’t be eligible for the draft, he just got here. Ford says everyone is eligible for the draft and Baron Corbin put his arms around the Profits and said tag teams can be split up and Profits says no and then we are going to go talk to Adam Pearce about this right now. Tozawa comes in and says Boogs big star, Elias last pick in the draft and starts laughing and Corbin says that was a good one and Tozawa says no one wants you…you suck, and Corbin says every time with that guy.

The Usos talk about their Backlash match with Owens, Zayn and Riddle.

The Judgment Day with Rhea Ripley VS. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn & Matt Riddle

During the match the referee throws Rhea out of the ringside area. Balor misses the Coup de Grace and Owens hits the Stunner, Zayn hits the Helluva kick and tags Riddle who hits the floating bro for the win.

Winners: Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn & Matt Riddle

After the match The Usos and Solo come out to attack Riddle, Owens and Zayn, Rey Mysterio and L.W.O. come out to even the odds.
