Smackdown rating for 05/05/2023

The Backlash go-home episode of Smackdown drew the lowest viewership of the year, with 2,059,000 viewers tuning in. It was also the least-watched episode since August 2022. That number was down a whopping 414,000 viewers from the prior week. The NBA playoffs smashed the competition on television. Smackdown did a 0.52 in the 18-49, down 0.15 from the previous week but still topped all of network television for the night. In the overnight ratings, the show did 1,935,000 viewers in the first hour and 2,016,000 viewers in the second hour. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)
