“Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn seemingly retires following Collision match

It looks like “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn has decided to call it quits when it comes to his in-ring career as following last night’s match on Collision when he teamed up with The Acclaimed against House of Black, Gunn left his boots in the middle of the ring.

Gunn lost the match for his team after Black hit the Black Mass finisher on him. As he recovered in the middle of the ring in front all members of House of Black, Malakai Black leaned over to Gunn, whispered something in his ear and then hugged him.

Gunn then start unlacing his boots as fans chanted “No! No! No!” and “You still got it” but with The Acclaimed looking over from the outside, Gunn placed both his boots in the middle of the ring and exited.

“All jokes aside, thank you for everything,” tweeted his son Austin. “Never needed a big send off, never asked for anything, just went out there & had fun and even though we haven’t seen eye to eye recently, we love you.”

His other son Colten also added, “We aren’t on the best terms right now but thank you….no other words need to be said.”
