Kairi Sane signs new WWE deal

PWInsider.com is reporting that Kairi Sane is returning to WWE and has signed a new deal with the company.

Sane left WWE in July 2020 to return to her home in Japan where she worked as an ambassador for WWE before leaving completely in March of last year. In February 2022 she announced that she would be returning to STARDOM and later in the year became the inaugural IWGP Women’s champion, a title she lost to Mercedes Mone in February 2023.

But in March, the Pirate Princess announced that she was a free agent and did not exclude a return to the United States. She originally left WWE not because of any differences, but because her husband still lived in Japan and wanted to go home to be a proper family.

She is a former NXT Women’s champion, WWE Women’s Tag Team champion, and Mae Young Classic winner.
