John Cena to host Payback tonight

John Cena will be at tonight’s Payback in Pittsburgh and will serve as the host of the show.

Cena made the announcement of his involvement last night on Smackdown where he returned to WWE television for a two-month spell.

The 16-time world champion was rudely interrupted by Jimmy Uso in the opening promo of the show and told Uso that the wrong brother quit. Jimmy told Cena that he is just like Roman, but Cena at least smiles. Ouch!

The segment ended when Uso tried to superkick Cena but Cena saw it coming and hit the Attitude Adjustment instead.

What Cena will be doing as “host” of Payback is unclear, both for us, and even for himself! Speaking to Cathy Kelley in a WWE.COM digital exclusive, Cena said he might go ask The Miz what that means.

“I’ve never quite hosted. I just found that out right before I went down there and I want to make sure everyone knows I’ll be at the premium live event Payback as the host, and I don’t even know what that means,” Cena said.
